(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)鈥51成人导航 student Natalia Rodriguez Lopez of West Chester was selected from more than 2,300 nominees nationwide for the prestigious 2026 All-USA Academic Team. In recognition of her intellectual achievement, leadership and community and campus engagement, Rodriguez Lopez will receive a $3,000 scholarship. She also was honored during the American Association of Community Colleges鈥 annual convention in Seattle, Washington, April 10 鈥 14.

A native of Colombia and a 51成人导航 Nursing major, Rodriguez Lopez is president of 51成人导航鈥檚 Phi Theta Kappa Beta Psi Pi chapter as well as president of the College鈥檚 student chapter of Sharing Excess, a nonprofit which rescues surplus fresh fruits and vegetables, then delivers them to student organizations. 51成人导航鈥檚 Sharing Excess student chapter distributes the produce monthly to 51成人导航 students and staff as well as on occasion to residents in the surrounding communities served by the College. Additionally, Rodriguez Lopez volunteers as a Spanish interpreter for Community Volunteers in Medicine in West Chester. She will continue her nursing studies at West Chester University.

In addition to her national award, Rodriquez Lopez was selected to the 2026 All-PA Academic Team, which is sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, and the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges. On April 7, she gave the keynote address at the All-PA Awards Banquet held by the Pennsylvania Commission at Harrisburg Area Community College.

The All-USA program is among the nation鈥檚 premier academic honors for students pursuing an associate degree. Each institution may nominate two students who have shown outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and citizenship. The program also honors students who leverage their community college experience to better themselves, improve their schools and impact their communities.
